FAMILY
FRIENDS
A loving supportive family and good loyal friends enhance an individual’s sense
of happiness and overall well-being. A number
of studies support the notion that strong and positive support from family and friends improve a person’s health and life span. To help lift the spirits and improve the health of a family or
friend, a person should be supportive in the following ways;
1) Be lovingly honest and truthful.
2) Be physically present.
3) Take an interest in their interest.

SCRIPTURES
PROVERBS 1: 8 & 9
8 My son, hear the instruction of your father, And do not forsake the
law of your mother;
9 For they will be a graceful ornament on your head, And chains about your
neck. NKJV
1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
2 "Honor your father
and mother," which is the first commandment with promise:
3 "that it may be well with
you and you may live long on the earth."
4 And you, fathers, do not provoke your children
to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord. NKJV
1 But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine:
2 that the older men be sober, reverent, temperate, sound in faith, in love, in patience;
3 the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of
good things
4 that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children,
5 to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not
be blasphemed.
6 Likewise, exhort the young men to be sober-minded,
7
in all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility,
8 sound speech that cannot be condemned, that one who is an opponent may be ashamed, having nothing
evil to say of you. NKJV
